"Exceptionally pleased with the young ladies, they hit the ball hard," Taylor said. "We've been stirring things up around town hard the entire year; we've forever been a power-hitting group and it showed today, three homers. Truly, we got one from somebody who hasn't hit one the entire year and she snagged one today, Grace Boyd."
No. 8 hitter Jayden Simpkins likewise homered for Rising Sun.
"The two, we didn't anticipate that. So it was ideal to see," Taylor said.
