Ava Tighe, Amelia Bentley and Kelly Callaghan each scored three objectives as No. 1 Cold Spring Harbor crushed No. 2 Carle Place, 14-1, to secure its second sequential Nassau Class D young ladies lacrosse title.
"Ball development is so significant," Tighe said. "We had the option to have these full go-arounds today on the grounds that the remainder of our group moved forward and moved the ball so well."
The senior and Florida-commit won attracts to keep the Seahawks on the assault and lay out an early lead. Tighe scored her most memorable objective on a free position shot with 23:36 excess in the principal half and Callaghan followed with two straight objectives.
"We have an incredible group dynamic," said Callaghan, a first year recruit. "We are in general companions and we can push each other without putting anybody in an awful mood."
