The entertainer talked about his affection life and what it means for the jobs he picks, in a profile for The Hollywood Reporter distributed on Wednesday.
"There are jobs that I passed on that I realized I needed more valuable experience to play. I resembled, 'What would i be able to pull from?'" he said. "However, I at long last tracked down what love was."
Obviously, Jordan was alluding to Harvey, whom he started dating one year prior.
Somewhere else in the profile, the "Without Remorse" entertainer — who had been private with regards to his dating life previously — disclosed that he chose to open up to the world about his relationship with Harvey on the grounds that "the circumstance for me was adequately genuine" to share.
"There's a planned preparation of avoiding the way [of the public eye] that occasionally kills immediacy and closeness," he said. "I needed to remove that and give this the most obvious opportunity it had, in this odd world that we live in, to be fairly ordinary."
He later proceeded, "Quick version, I believe it's simply the circumstance of everything. It was the ideal opportunity for me. Definitely. I'm glad."
Jordan and Harvey each praised their one-year commemoration last month, by sharing various photographs of them together on their Instagram Stories.
"It's been a year insane!!" Jordan subtitled one of his posts.
Last week, Harvey posted an arrangement of photographs on Instagram of the two going through Thanksgiving along with family.
"Incredibly grateful," she wrote in the post's subtitle.
Jordan stars in impending dramatization "A Journal for Jordan," coordinated by Denzel Washington and in light of the book by Dana Canedy. The film is set to hit theaters on Christmas.
