Youth And Sports Minister Rallies Support For Black Stars

The Minister in an assertion on the floor of Parliament said in under a month, definitively from ninth January to ninth February 2022, Ghana would be at the 'war front' where the Black Stars would pitch itself with the remainder of Africa in the 2021 AFCON with the fantasy to see the Black Stars end the 40-year dry season of the mainland prize.

"Mr Speaker, this fantasy of our own must be acknowledged through a unified way to deal with the competition," Mr. Ussif expressed.

He utilized the chance to mobilize support for the Black Stars as they participate in one more endeavor to lift the prize for the fifth time; adding that starting around 2008 when Ghana facilitated the AFCON, the Black Stars had come so close on many events.

Mr Ussif declared that the country had raised from the Special Presidential Fundraising Campaign for the Black Stars and other public groups through corporate Ghana a measure of 2,000,000 dollars.
