Stars' forward Joe Pavelski is in Las Vegas with other NHL champions this week's end ensuing to being picked to the NHL All-Star Game.

Pavelski was a part in Friday night's "Capacities Competition," appearing in a new-to-2022, blackjack-themed challenge where he and four other All-Stars stayed on Las Vegas Boulevard and ended a street hockey puck at a mass of bigger than normal playing a game. The goal was to get as close to 21 at all number of shots.

He battled with Colorado's Nazem Kadri, Toronto's Auston Matthews, Tampa Bay's Steven Stamkos, and Ottawa's Brady Tkachuk.

What's more coincidentally, Joe Pavelski is amazing at blackjack. The NHL's variation, regardless.

Pavelski destroyed continuous blackjacks by marking ace-ruler and ace-sovereign combos in four consecutive shots, then, nailed a sovereign to sway the high-card abrupt demise round Stamkos, who hit a four to seal Pavelski's prosperity.

The 37-year-old Pavelski is maybe the most prepared player decided to the 2022 All-Star Game and was named the captain of the Central Division bunch. It's his resulting occupation All-Star decision, having played in the game in the 2013-14 season while with the Sharks.
