Kentucky Hall Of Fame Journalist, Sports Writer Billy Reed Dies At 79

As per the Northern Kentucky Tribune, Reed died at Norton Women and Children's emergency clinic in the wake of engaging a long-lasting sickness.

Reed, whose collections of work was highlighted in the Courier Journal, the Lexington-Herald Leader and the Northern Kentucky tribune covered amazing University Coach Adolph Rupp, boxing champion Muhammad Ali and high-profile occasions including the Kentucky Derby and the Super Bowl.
