"I felt it was an incredible obligation, having the power that this brand does, to be as comprehensive and really agent," she said. "The more great we can do with this power, and the more brands we can urge to do likewise, the better this industry and this scene will be, for business as well as only for everybody."

While she declined to name which brands will show up in the magazine's May version, Day said the reaction to the new publicizing drive has been "overpowering."

SI Swimsuit will likewise contribute a level of each advertisement dollar produced by the yearly issue to make the Sports Illustrated Gender Equity Fund. The asset will uphold a yet-to-be-named not-for-profit that is at the very front of making an evenhanded future for all ladies.
