The Full Throttle Speed Skating crew contended in last end of the week's Northbrook Short Track Open in Northbrook, Illinois. The local meet included groups from Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Missouri, Colorado, Washington DC and California. The greater part of the group was assembled with more established kids at longer distances than in normal age-based meets.
Gabe Marimoto Taqueushi contended in the 170m, 255m, 340m and 425m distances and progressed to the A finals, completing first for his gathering.
Vivaan Gupta and Meredith Schwab contended at 222m, 333m, 500m and 777m distances for their individual gatherings. The two skaters progressed to the B finals for their gatherings.
