Lightning Strike: Raiders Can't Catch Bolts After Slow Start 사설토토

INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) — A lethargic beginning is turning into a recognizable issue for the Las Vegas Raiders, who have fallen behind by two scores in three of their four games this season.

However, a deferred the opening shot as a result of a lightning danger — at an arena with a rooftop?

That was an original wellspring of delay for mentor Jon Gruden and his Raiders before they confronted the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday night.

"It was practically similar to, what on earth is going on?" beneficiary Hunter Renfrow inquired. "That is to say, we're in a vault, correct? I bet you on the off chance that you surveyed everyone in here, no one would have speculated you could have a lightning delay. Yet, clearly they reacted better compared to we did to it, or we wouldn't have come out and played the manner in which we did in the principal half."

Without a doubt, the Raiders (3-1) actually battled to make up for lost time when they at last got on the SoFi Stadium field after the lightning danger passed in the Southland.

They were down 7-0 after Los Angeles' initial drive, and they followed 21-0 at halftime in the wake of dealing with a unimportant 51 yards of offense — the Raiders' most noticeably terrible first half since Gruden's return in 2018 — offset by 53 yards in punishments.

Two extended scoring drives to open a solid second from last quarter weren't a sufficient meeting to save Las Vegas from its first loss of the period, 28-14 to its AFC West opponents.

Rather than designing one more sensational closure in a season previously including two additional time triumphs, the Raiders were feeble to prevent the Chargers from saving an agreeable success.

"All things considered, ideally this awakens us somewhat," said Derek Carr, who passed for a season-low 196 yards and two TDs. "I think we need to begin much quicker, truth be told. We began the season incredible, however we don't begin games almost sufficient yet."

The Raiders have been outscored 56-31 in the main a large portion of this season, incorporating 28-5 in the primary quarter. Those numbers are disturbing, yet Gruden was especially frightened by this sluggish beginning, over and over calling it "absurd."

It might have been far more detestable, however Renfrow made perhaps the best head up plays in ongoing NFL history when he tracked down a phony dropkick late in the principal quarter and thundered up from his situation as the returner to explode a pass from Ty Long to Tevaughn Campbell.

"We had punishments that were silly," Gruden said. "We surrendered a few plays in the passing game today that you can't surrender. We didn't play well in the main half. ... We retaliated and set ourselves in a place to make a sensational rebound this evening. We simply didn't make the plays."

Las Vegas' initial 3-0 beginning starting around 2002 finished at SoFi Stadium before great many silver-and-dark clad fans from the Raiders' plentiful fan base in the Los Angeles region. Albeit the arena shook for the Raiders, the Chargers' fans had significantly more to cheer outside the second from last quarter.

The Raiders' potential tying drive was halted at the Chargers 34 with 10:38 to play when a short pass, a short run and a sack of Carr shortcircuited another attractive drive. Carr said the third-down sack was an accident part of the way brought about by close end Darren Waller beating his man so seriously that it left his Chargers protector remaining in the window where Carr needed to toss to Renfrow.

"So I went to Waller, yet when I was going through my movement, I attempted to scramble, and it was past the point of no return," Carr said.

Daniel Carlson missed a field objective endeavor, and the Chargers drove for the definitive score.

The Raiders have brief period to harp on this difficulty with a brief time of groundwork for a little while from Chicago (2-2) on Sunday. Carr apologized to the Raiders fans who cheered them in Inglewood and promised to improve in Las Vegas.

"Coming here, it wasn't actually a threatening spot," Carr said. "It was all the more a home game, actually like we figured it would be. For us to simply continue to go ahead, we simply should be reliable. ... The assumption won't ever change. The assumption is to dominate each match. We didn't do that today, and that is all my shortcoming."
