Saudi clubs are reportedly more keen on signing Mohamed Salah than Son Heung-min.

'Saudi clubs will be back for another major assault on the English Premier League (EPL) this summer,' the UK's Mirror reported on Aug. 28 (KST). And it is almost certain that the Saudi Pro League will see Liverpool superstar Salah as their number one target and biggest trophy.

Saudi clubs are reportedly preparing to spend a whopping £2 billion ($3.382 trillion) in the upcoming summer transfer window. In recent years, there have been numerous reports of Saudi clubs approaching Son Heung-min.

In June of last year, Sky Sports reported, "Tottenham striker Son Heung-min is a target for a Saudi club in 2024 and work is already underway. The Saudis are laying the groundwork to convince the South Korean to join their national club next year.

Last summer, Al-Ittihad made moves to sign both Son and Salah at the same time, but both failed. Recently, it seems that Al Ahly have revived their interest in Son, but it seems that they're going to try and sign Salah first.

The Reds were more aggressive in their pursuit of Salah since last summer, when they offered £150 million - the third highest transfer fee in soccer history - but Liverpool's stubborn refusal to 토토사이트 budge.

Salah, like Heung-min Son, is out of contract at the end of the 2024-2025 season. While Son has been linked with a move to Tottenham in recent weeks, there have been no reports of any renewal talks between Salah and Liverpool. With Jürgen Klopp also set to leave the club, fans are concerned about the future of Liverpool's key players.

'Liverpool are in a different position ahead of the summer as Salah's contract enters the final 12 months,' says the Mirror. There is always the prospect that Salah could leave for nothing in 2025 if he does not want to stay at Anfield beyond his current deal.

If the Saudi clubs are committed to signing Salah, Spurs will be able to breathe a sigh of relief. The only question is how willing Spurs will be to hold on to Son Heung-min. According to reports in England, Son is currently keen to stay at Tottenham.

Football Insider reported on Monday, "According to sources, the Tottenham captain is happy with the club, with formal contract talks set to take place at the appropriate time. Son Heung-min has decided to extend his contract with Tottenham,' the report said.

'A source said the South Korea international has told those close to him that he is happy in the EPL and still feels he is at the peak of his career and will turn down 'huge' offers for a move,' the report continued.

Tottenham are also adamant that they will never sell Son Heung-min.
