Turkey Trot

Every year, like clockwork, Thanksgiving rolls around and along with it comes all the usual festivities: stuffing ourselves with turkey, mashed potatoes, and pumpkin pie, watching football, and of course, the Turkey Trot.

As a fitness enthusiast and avid runner, the Turkey Trot is one of my favorite holiday traditions. Not only is it a great way to burn off some of those extra holiday calories, but it's also a fun and festive way to get the whole family moving.

Growing up, I wasn't much of a runner. In fact, I hated it. But as I got older, I started to appreciate the physical and mental benefits of running. And when I discovered the Turkey Trot, it became my favorite way to kick off the holiday season.

The Turkey Trot is a unique event. It's not like any other race I've ever run. The atmosphere is always so positive and upbeat, and it's a great way to connect with the community.

One year, I even dressed up as a turkey for the race. I know, I know, it was a little silly, but it was all in good fun. And it definitely made the race more memorable.

Whether you're a seasoned runner or a complete novice, I encourage you to give the Turkey Trot a try. It's a great way to get some exercise, have some fun, and give back to the community.
