Join the Leadership Institute as we speak with special guest speaker U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand.

Hear about leadership, civic engagement, working during this time of uncertainty, and what her job entails as a US Senator! We will also get the chance to hear from our very own CEO Meridith Maskara!

This exciting event is part of the ‘Leadership Institute Program Preview’, which is a series of 5 events over October and November that showcase the amazing things girls can do as a Leadership Institute participant. Registered Girl Scouts in 6th - 12th grade who participate in a minimum of 3 out of 5 program preview events will be eligible to win an academic scholarship!
Leadership Institute Program Preview Events:

Girls who apply and are accepted into the Leadership Institute’s Cohort 2021 will have opportunities to participate in subject-specific camps, peer committees, girl-led and professional-led workshops, college visits, internships and job shadowing, virtual panels with accomplished and diverse professional women, and so much more!

The Leadership Institute Program is open to any girl in grades 6-12 who lives in New York City; prior Girl Scouting experience is not required. The application will open and close in November; girls will officially start this entirely virtual program in December.
