UCL draw: Manchester City to face Real Madrid in semi-final

The last four of the Champions League has been set, with holders Real Madrid drawn against Manchester City in one semi-final and Liverpool facing Villarreal in the other.

City will be aiming to reach a second successive final, having lost to Chelsea last season, while Real Madrid are looking to win the competition for a record-extending 14th time.

Liverpool will be favourites to progress against Villarreal, but the Spanish side have already knocked out Juventus and Bayern Munich this season, so they should not be underestimated.

The first legs of the semi-finals will be played on April 26/27, with the second legs taking place on May 3/4.

City and Real Madrid are the two favourites to win the competition, but Liverpool and Villarreal will both be hoping to cause an upset.
