USF Football

The University of South Florida Bulls football team, nicknamed the Bulls, represents the University of South Florida. The Bulls began playing college football in 1997 and compete in the American Athletic Conference of the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) within the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). The Bulls have won one conference championship, in 2018, and have played in six bowl games.

The Bulls play their home games at Raymond James Stadium, located in Tampa, Florida. The stadium has a capacity of over 65,000, making it one of the largest on-campus stadiums in the country. The Bulls have a long-standing rivalry with the University of Central Florida Knights, and the two teams play for the War on I-4 trophy each year.

Some of the Bulls' most notable players include former NFL players Matt Grothe, George Selvie, and Terrell McClain. The Bulls have also had several successful coaches, including Jim Leavitt, Skip Holtz, and Willie Taggart.
