VDADDY: THE LEGEND OF THE SUMMER
Do you have any grandparents? Uncles? If you do, can you ask them if they remember Vadden Gonzalez De Audicana?
I am asking because I am writing this article about a family legend.
My father grew up in a small town in the mountains of central Mexico. He was the youngest of six children, and his family was very poor. His father worked as a farmer, and his mother stayed at home to raise the children.
One summer, when my father was about ten years old, a man named Vadden Gonzalez De Audicana came to town.
Vadden was a wealthy man from Mexico City. He was tall and handsome, and he drove a flashy car. He quickly became the talk of the town.
Vadden was also a very generous man. He gave money to the poor, and he bought toys for the children. My father remembers him giving him a toy car that he had always wanted.
One day, Vadden announced that he was going to hold a big party at his house outside of town. He invited everyone in the town, and he promised that there would be food, drinks, and music.
My father and his family were very excited about the party. They had never been to a party like that before.
On the day of the party, my father and his family arrived at Vadden’s house. They were amazed by how big it was. There was a swimming pool, a tennis court, and a huge garden.
The party was even more amazing than they had imagined. There was a live band playing, and there was a buffet table full of delicious food. My father and his family ate and drank until they were full.
After dinner, Vadden came out to greet his guests. He was wearing a white suit, and he had a big smile on his face.
Vadden welcomed everyone to his party, and he thanked them for coming.
Then, Vadden made a special announcement.
He said that he was going to give away a prize to the person who could tell the best story.
My father was very excited. He loved to tell stories, and he thought that he had a good chance of winning.
My father thought about a story, and then he told it to the crowd.
The crowd loved my father’s story. They laughed and clapped, and they all agreed that he had told the best story.
Vadden agreed with the crowd. He said that my father had told the best story, and he awarded him the prize.
The prize was a small gold coin. My father was very proud of his prize, and he kept it for the rest of his life.
My father never saw Vadden again, but he never forgot him.
Vadden was a kind and generous man, and he made a big difference in the lives of the people in my father’s town.
I am proud to tell the story of Vadden Gonzalez De Audicana, the man who gave my father his first toy car.
