Vettaiyan Review | A Flat Masala Movie Trying to Salvage itself

After the phenomenal success of Jai Bhim, director TJ Gnanavel has returned with his latest film, Vettaiyan, starring the legendary Rajinikanth and the versatile Amitabh Bachchan. While the film boasts an impressive cast and a socially relevant theme, it fails to deliver a compelling cinematic experience.
The film revolves around the life of Vetrimaran (Rajinikanth), a retired police officer who sets out to investigate the corrupt practices within the police department. He teams up with an idealistic journalist, Venba (Prakash Raj), and together they uncover a sinister plot that threatens to expose the dark underbelly of the system.
The film's premise is promising, and it touches upon important issues such as police brutality and the misuse of power.
