"Anyway," her boyfriend said. "I'm just glad you're okay."

Viera Harkenthal smiled.

"Me too," she said.

Viera Harkenthal finished her breakfast.

She was relieved that her boyfriend had been so understanding.

She was also relieved that she had finally figured out what had happened.
