WHO IS TOKE MAKINWA?

Toke Makinwa is a Nigerian radio personality, television host, vlogger, lifestyle entrepreneur, actress, and author. She is best known for hosting The Late Morning Show on Rhythm 93.7 FM and for her YouTube vlog series Toke Moments. In November 2016, she released her book On Becoming.

EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION

Toke Makinwa was born on November 3, 1984, in Lagos, Nigeria. She is the second of four children born to Caleb Ifemayowa Makinwa and Modupe Monica Makinwa. Her father was a banker, and her mother was a teacher.
Makinwa attended Corona Primary School in Victoria Island, Lagos, and Federal Government Girls' College in Sagamu, Ogun State. She then went on to study Mass Communication at the University of Lagos.
