Why I Won't Be Trying Lekita Rieckert's Crazy New Diet
By Lekita Rieckert
We all want to lose weight and live healthier lives, but some diets seem to go to extreme lengths to get results. The latest diet craze, created by self-proclaimed health guru Lekita Rieckert, is no exception.
The Basics of the Lekita Rieckert Diet
Rieckert's diet is based on the premise that we should eat only foods that are found in nature. That means no processed foods, no sugary drinks, and no meat. Instead, Rieckert recommends a diet of fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and whole grains.
Why I'm Not On Board
While Rieckert's diet may be healthy in theory, there are a few reasons why I'm not convinced it's a good idea for me.
First, it's too restrictive. I love my coffee in the morning and my glass of wine in the evening, and I'm not willing to give them up. And while I love fruits and vegetables, I know I wouldn't be able to stick to a diet that was so limited.
Second, it's not sustainable. I'm not made of money, and organic fruits and vegetables can be expensive. I also don't have the time or energy to cook every meal from scratch.
Third, it's not realistic. I live in the real world, and there are times when it's not possible to eat healthy. I'm not going to stress myself out over every little thing I eat.
A Better Way to Lose Weight
If you're looking to lose weight, there are healthier and more sustainable ways to do it than the Lekita Rieckert Diet. Here are a few tips:
- Eat a healthy diet of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean protein.
- Get regular exercise.
- Make small changes to your lifestyle that you can stick to over time.
