Willbert Gutheinz's Embarrassing Story: How He Forgot His Pants

Willbert Gutheinz was a man of many talents. He was a brilliant scientist, a skilled musician, and a world-renowned athlete. But despite all of his accomplishments, there was one thing that Willbert Gutheinz was truly terrible at: remembering to wear pants.
It wasn't that Willbert Gutheinz didn't own pants. He had a closet full of them. But for some reason, he always seemed to forget to put them on before leaving the house. This had led to some embarrassing situations over the years.
One time, Willbert Gutheinz went to the grocery store without pants. He didn't realize his mistake until he got to the checkout line. As he was unloading his groceries onto the conveyor belt, the cashier noticed that he was not wearing pants.
"Excuse me, sir," the cashier said. "But you're not wearing any pants."
Willbert Gutheinz looked down at himself and realized that the cashier was right. He was standing there in his underwear, in the middle of the grocery store.
"Oh my gosh," Willbert Gutheinz said. "I completely forgot to put on my pants."
The cashier tried to stifle a laugh. "That's okay," she said. "It happens to the best of us."
Willbert Gutheinz quickly grabbed his pants and put them on. He paid for his groceries and rushed out of the store. He was so embarrassed that he didn't even want to go home. He drove around town for hours, just trying to calm down.
Another time, Willbert Gutheinz went to a job interview without pants. He didn't realize his mistake until he was sitting in the waiting room. As he was looking over his resume, he noticed that his pants were missing.
"Oh no," Willbert Gutheinz said. "I forgot my pants again."
He quickly got up and ran out of the building. He went back to his car and put on his pants. Then he drove back to the office and apologized to the receptionist.
"I'm so sorry," Willbert Gutheinz said. "I forgot to put on my pants this morning."
The receptionist smiled and said, "That's okay. We all make mistakes."
Willbert Gutheinz went into the interview and did his best. But he couldn't help but feel embarrassed about his pantsless mishap. He knew that he had blown his chances of getting the job.
As it turned out, Willbert Gutheinz didn't get the job. But he did learn a valuable lesson: always check to make sure you're wearing pants before leaving the house.
