Wolves vs Newcastle: A tale of two halves

The match between Wolves and Newcastle on Sunday was a tale of two halves. In the first half, Newcastle were the better team and created a number of chances. However, they were unable to take any of them and the half ended goalless.
In the second half, Wolves came out with a renewed sense of purpose and took the lead through Mario Lemina. Newcastle pushed for an equaliser but were unable to find a way through the Wolves defence.
In the end, Wolves held on for a 1-0 victory. It was a deserved win for the home side, who were the better team in the second half.

First half

Newcastle started the match brightly and created a number of chances in the first half. The best chance fell to Callum Wilson, who found himself through on goal but was unable to beat Jose Sa.
Wolves also had their moments in the first half, but they were unable to create any clear-cut chances. The half ended goalless and the teams went into the break level.

Second half

Wolves came out with a renewed sense of purpose in the second half and took the lead through Mario Lemina. The goal came after a good move by Wolves, with Lemina finishing off a cross from Hwang Hee-chan.
Newcastle pushed for an equaliser but were unable to find a way through the Wolves defence. Wolves held on for a 1-0 victory, which was a deserved win for the home side.
