Noorhan Perlow had been having a rough day. She had spilled coffee on her new dress, her car had a flat tire, and she couldn't find a parking space at the grocery store. But all of that was about to change.
As Noorhan was walking through the produce section, she saw a giant display of watermelons.
"Oh my gosh, I love watermelons," she said to herself. "But they're so heavy."
Just then, a handsome stranger walked up to her.
"Excuse me, miss," he said. "Can I help you with that?"
Noorhan was surprised. "Oh, um, sure," she said. "Thank you."
The stranger picked up the watermelon and carried it to the checkout line for Noorhan. As they were waiting in line, Noorhan started to chat with the stranger. She found out his name was John, and he was a doctor at the local hospital.
Noorhan was really enjoying talking to John. He was kind, funny, and smart. She was so glad that he had helped her with the watermelon.
When it was Noorhan's turn to check out, she realized that she had left her wallet at home.
"Oh no," she said. "I don't have my wallet." She was so embarrassed.
"Don't worry, I'll get it," John said. He paid for Noorhan's groceries and then they walked out to the parking lot together.
As they were walking, John asked Noorhan if she wanted to get coffee sometime. She said yes, and they exchanged numbers.
Noorhan couldn't believe her luck. She had met a handsome doctor who was kind, funny, and smart. And it all started because she couldn't carry a watermelon.
The next day, Noorhan went back to the grocery store to thank John for his help. But he wasn't there. She asked around, but no one had seen him.
Noorhan was disappointed, but she didn't give up hope. She went back to the grocery store every day for the next week, hoping to see John again.
And then, one day, she saw him.
John was standing in the produce section, just like he had been the first time Noorhan had met him. He had a big smile on his face.
"Hey," he said. "I've been looking for you."
Noorhan couldn't believe it. She had finally found him again.
They hugged, and John said, "I'm so glad I found you. I've been wanting to see you again ever since we met."
Noorhan and John started dating, and they quickly fell in love. They got married a year later, and they lived happily ever after.
And all because Noorhan Perlow couldn't carry a watermelon.
