It was a dark and stormy night.
I was sitting in my room, bored out of my mind. I had nothing to do, and I was starting to get restless. I decided to take a walk outside, but as soon as I opened the door, the wind blew it shut behind me. I was trapped.
I started to panic. I didn't know what to do. I couldn't go back inside, and I didn't want to stay out in the storm. I was starting to get scared.
Suddenly, I heard a noise. It was coming from the other side of the door. I held my breath and listened.
"Cal," the voice said.
I didn't know what to do. I was too scared to answer. The voice spoke again.
"Cal, I know you're there," the voice said. "Come out and play."
I didn't know what to do. I was too scared to answer. The voice spoke again.
"Cal, I'm not going to hurt you," the voice said. "I just want to play."
I didn't know what to do. I was too scared to answer. The voice spoke again.
"Cal, please come out," the voice said. "I'm lonely."
I didn't know what to do. I was too scared to answer. The voice spoke again.
"Cal, I'm going to count to three," the voice said. "If you don't come out by the time I get to three, I'm going to come in there and get you."
I didn't know what to do. I was too scared to answer. The voice spoke again.
"One," the voice said.
I didn't know what to do. I was too scared to answer. The voice spoke again.
"Two," the voice said.
I didn't know what to do. I was too scared to answer. The voice spoke again.
"Three."
The door opened, and the voice stepped inside.
It was a small, furry creature. It had big, bright eyes and a long, bushy tail. It was the cutest thing I had ever seen.
The creature looked at me and smiled.
"Hi," the creature said. "My name is Cal."
I smiled back.
"Hi, Cal," I said. "My name is [your name]."
Cal and I played together for hours. We played hide-and-seek, we played tag, and we even played dress-up. We had so much fun.
When it was time for Cal to go, I was sad to see him leave. But I knew that we would see each other again soon.
Cal is my best friend. He's always there for me, and he always makes me laugh. I'm so glad that I met him that stormy night.
